Now that we all know how even simple ‘shopping can excessively enhance how one looks in a picture, we’ve somehow learned how to “look beneath the surface.” If we see a bright, blurred and/or shadowy picture of someone, we know how to mentally un-bright (revealing dark circles around the eyes), un-blur (revealing imperfections) and un-shadow (lessening the definition of muscles, cheekbones and jawlines) the image and imagine how they really look like. So yeah, ‘shopping ain’t working so much anymore. And really, you ain’t that hot!
